The following General Terms and Conditions of Business are applicable to all business relations between the customer and Llibreria Antiquària Farré. The version valid at the time of entering into the contract is authoritative.
Ordering a book on our website is an easy and secure process. Once you've found a book that you'd like to buy, you begin the purchase process by clicking the Add to Basket button to place the book in your shopping basket.
You can add as many items as you like to your shopping basket, and when you are ready to proceed to the checkout, simply click on Checkout. If you have an account, you’ll need your username and your password and you’ll have to follow the instructions. If you don’t have an account already, we’ll set you up with one during the purchase process.
Once you’ve signed on, you can choice the method of payment and shipment that you prefer.
Once you have filled in the form and confirmed the order, we’ll confirm the availability of the book as soon as possible.

Cash on delivery. VERY IMPORTANT: this option is only available in Spain.

We ship worldwide and all packages will be sent via the spanish postal service (Correos) unless another carrier is requested.
The shipping cost is an additional rate which will be calculated when you place your order, depending on size and weight, destination and speed of delivery. At the confirmation of the order we’ll inform about the total amount, shipment included.

We can’t guarantee the availability of all the products that appear in our website since we are always making sales or holding books for customers and we’ll need to verify physically if a particular book is on the shelf. Once you have ordered, we’ll confirm you by email the availability or other important details such as mistakes in the description or in the condition, etc.
If you want to change the shipment or payment method or you have any question about the order, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you want to cancel an order that hasn’t been still sent, you can send us an email with your order number or simply with your data. If there is anything we can do prior to cancelling your order that will fix the problem for you we will do our best to accommodate.
Llibreria Antiquària Farré reserves the right to cancel an order when the information is not precise. However, we’ll contact the customer before the cancellation.
If you haven’t received your parcel within a reasonable time according to the shipment options (spanish postal service takes between 20 and 45 days, depending on the destination, or another postage service (between 1 and 5 days), please contact us and we’ll post a complaint.
If, for any reason beyond our control, the parcel is returned to our bookshop (either the holding period has expired, it has not been claimed or the address is not correct), we’ll contact you as soon as possible. If you wish us to resend the parcel that has been returned to us, there will be an additional postage charge.
Llibreria Antiquària Farré will accept returns for a refund within fifteen working days from the date of reception as long as the book is in the same condition that it has been described. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Once we have received the book, we’ll examine its condition before refunding the total amount.
If you receive the book in a different condition than described, we’ll accept the return for a full refund, that is, price of the book and shipment charges. If you want to return an item, please email us or give us a phone call.
